Where did you find out about the Global Graduate Programme?
Since my postgraduate studies, I have always been interested in joining a Graduate Program. During my final semester, I started looking for such programs and came across an opportunity at some of the companies I was interested in. I visited their career pages and found the Global Graduate Programme in Marketing at BAT, which caught my interest.
Why did you decide to apply for the BAT Graduate Programme?
I applied for BAT Graduate Program because I enjoy taking ownership and being responsible for the projects I lead. It is a great opportunity to collaborate with different departments, work on projects in various areas and countries, and gain invaluable experience for my personal growth. Participating in a Graduate Program is one of the best ways to develop new skills and improve the ones you have already possessed in your skillset!
Briefly describe the selection process and the first weeks of the programme.
The process of hiring new employees can be quite extensive, and it demands successful navigation through the various challenges that may arise. During my experience with the hiring process, I have encountered a combination of group work and individual tasks that were designed to evaluate my skills and qualifications. These tasks varied in nature, some being qualitative in nature, while others were quantitative, highlighting the need for both types of assessments in the field of Marketing. Overall, the hiring process was a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of my abilities, and it enabled me to highlight my strengths while also identifying areas where my improvement needs.
What was the most interesting and the most difficult in the whole programme?
I am currently leading the launch of one of BAT's brands in Hungary. It is a crucial, difficult, and challenging task, but also remarkably interesting. This opportunity is feeding my experience like never before, and I am grateful for it.
