Continue your amazing career with a bright future!
At British American Tobacco, we help you grow your career alongside international professionals, by placing you in an environment that cultivates learning, collaboration, and well-being in an industry that’s transforming at a rapid pace.
An extraordinary confluence of technology, societal change, and public health awareness has created a unique context: the opportunity to make a substantial leap forward in our long-held ambition to provide our consumers with potentially reduced-risk tobacco and nicotine choices.
As an IT Service Management Analyst, you will help deliver our strategy of developing products that offer consumers potentially less risky alternatives to regular cigarettes, alongside our traditional tobacco business, from the Information Technology point of view.
This new vacancy is in our Prague office, Czech Republic, overlooking the Vltava river.
About the role
Your knowledge and passion will help you manage services and end to end delivery across multiple end markets, such as the commercial business units located in Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
Working in close collaboration with the local IT services, you will ensure the fulfillment of services as per SLA. Therefore, our next colleague must have an excellent command of Czech or Slovak language and English. Knowing the Hungarian language is a plus.
You will also play part in the Global Service Team and support the agenda across the region and find new ways to improve the delivery of IT services into end markets. To achieve this goal, the Regional team will work alongside you.
As the coordinator of the local IT budget, you will own the Local Service Catalogue throughout the S&OP cycle and engage with IT Demand for capturing any demand signals.
During our tobacco transformation we are implementing critical projects that change how BAT works, so you will be involved from Day 1 in managing the local application cycle, especially acting as the 1st level escalation point and focus for any end market engagement activities. This will mean you will be involved in:
Properly embedding the cloud way of working and helping the organization benefit fully from new systems and way of working;
Preparing the organization and educating to get the most from the new systems we are delivering, especially aligned with next-generation products;
Helping to prepare the thinking/input to the trade marketing and distribution project for Czech and Hungary.
You are a qualified IT professional, with 3-5 years’ experience in a medium-large sized company with overall responsibility for the IT-related function, ready for a change.
